Life means constant change, and your own four walls should adapt to that too. "The house has become much too big now that the children have moved out. And our plan has always been to move into an apartment when we retire and travel a lot," Lydia Klüners begins. "The house and, above all, the property are too much work," adds her husband Wilfried. That's why the couple decided to sell their house after 27 years. They researched online and chose two real estate agents with whom they wanted to discuss their plans first. Ultimately, they chose Kartheuser Immobilien.
"Your colleagues, Ms. Wesser, exuded incredible self-confidence," says Ms. Klüners. "No second-guessing, unlike with other brokers." The phrase, "It is our pleasure to sell this house," particularly stuck with the couple. "That was encouraging! They know what they're doing!" she reports. First, it was time for the appraisal. True to the motto "four eyes see more than two," Tim Kartheuser and André Bobbert were on site to inspect the couple's property. "The two made an incredibly confident and committed impression and were very well informed about the building and, above all, its special location in the outdoor area," says Mr. Klüners.
To ensure the best possible preparation, appointments were then made with the copywriter, the photographer, and other team members. The Objektcheck© ran in the background. "It was impressive; Mr. Bobbert knew a lot that even we didn't know," praises Mr. Klüners. "He really enjoys doing this, you can tell!" adds his wife.
About four weeks after signing the contract, the couple received the digital exposé for approval. Mr. Klüners smiles with a wink: "We were surprised ourselves at what kind of house we live in!" The couple wanted to reduce the text a little. "The house spoke for itself with the great photos," says Mrs. Klüners. The virtual 360° tour was not published, but was used exclusively for individual consultations with prospective buyers.
According to Mr. Klüners, the viewings took place very quietly. Serious prospective buyers quickly emerged. And the buyers were also found quickly. "A really great family with two children who will fill the house with life again."
From the couple's perspective, the sales negotiations were conducted in a very appealing manner. "No haggling—very pleasant and respectful," recalls Ms. Klüners, adding: "I have never experienced or heard of a real estate agent being so intensively involved in the purchase, developing the draft purchase agreement with the notary and incorporating our specific wishes. I felt that our interests were very well represented." Lydia Klüners concludes: "We always felt well informed and well looked after. The collaboration was very pleasant, friendly, and attentive, but always within the boundaries required by the business."
