At 871.5 million euros, the total transaction value remained nearly at the previous year’s level (-0.7%). Price trends have stabilized following the declines of previous years. Prices for existing homes have fallen slightly or are stagnating, while a slight increase can be observed for new construction.

With 982 sales, the market for single-family and two-family homes is the sector with the highest sales volume. Prices for existing homes have remained largely stable here. The average purchase prices for single-family and two-family homes (all types) range from €405,000 in Wülfrath to €581,000 in Langenfeld.

  • Vacant lots and condominiums

The number of sales of undeveloped land rose by 14% to 196. Prices for building land for single-family homes have stagnated in most cities in the district; only in Monheim am Rhein was a slight increase in standard land values approved. The market for condominiums recorded an increase of around 23% with 1,356 sales. The total sales volume here rose by 19% to 253 million euros.
